Hey all. I really wanted to dedicate this post to all Chiropractic students. I have had the dubious honor of spending some real quality time with some of your from Logan and Sherman over the past couple weeks. It was a great opportunity for me to get back in touch with your reality at school as well as for you to get in touch with the reality of Chiropractic in the real world. I believe that we have both learned a lot from each other during our visits. I just really want to encourage you all. You are entering into an unbelievable profession with an opportunity to change the lives of so many people that you come into contact with. I encourage you all to begin to think about what you want your life to look like once you graduate from all those fine institutions. No matter where you are at in school, whether you have just started or are about to graduate, begin gather as much information as you can about the business of Chiropractic. Logan taught me how to be a tremendous Chiropractic Physician. My preceptor and associateship taught me absolutely how to run a high volume Chiropractic practice. But it took someone else to show me how to build and grow a high volume Chiropractic practice from scratch. So please do not neglect this vital part of our business that you will have to search out for yourself. Begin investigating all that you can regarding this subject. Most importantly hold everything that you hear and read to a higher standard. Do not commit yourself to or do anything that isn’t legal, moral, or ethical when it comes to practice building. Also don’t fall for the latest fad and gimmick. There are many of our colleagues out there that have fallen prey to these different groups and organizations who are no longer in the business and thus our colleagues are no longer in the business. All it comes down to is doing your do diligence. I appreciate you all. Let me know what else you guys would like to hear on this blog? I would really love some feedback as we address other key issues with in our profession. Keep up all the good work, your day is approaching.
